the year is full of promise. i am getting the little boat out on the beach, the wind is from the south and north east, just below white cap velocity. it promises a good sail without splash.
your mother saw dolphins yesterday. i did not. i went out to find the ones i had seen an hour earlier and found just open water. your mother electing to avoid wind and wind chop allowed them to come to her. they swam under her boat and on to the shore nearly beaching themselves as they grabbed brunch.
pretty neat but not a single one today.
we have had a good new year, watched the balls fall in atlanta, new york and la.
atlanta has a peach for a ball.
football- we watched two bowl games and that was enough. had a great buffet. ash should have been here to cook. though we enjoyed our pigs in a blanket, he may have come up with some other ideas.
well, i had no christmas stocking toys and your mom was sad she did not have any either. we were good, it was just poor planing. we were both sure we would have been back up northerly for the house. so i opened packages of clothing not previously opened and used them as christmas presents. also a weather station not previously installed will be installed today.
turns out we had a good christmas, in retrospect fabulous. we had taken all of our money out of the stock market. we will survive nicely in a conservative way.
i am curious, did you not remember that somewhere in all the things we gave you are two sets of antique silverware? or have you sold or hocked them.
sounds like you had a good christmas. did you get that book ben franklin’s auto biograph? well off to do roof work. weather station installation
dwlctbbs from farther south than you.
